Welcome to my new blog – From the Expert!
In this blog, I will direct my writing into areas in which I have substantial expertise. Many of us think we’re experts in a lot of fields and issues. I think that as well. Just ask my wife! But, I know when I read articles online, I’m hoping to read material that has a theoretical or practical foundation that’s reliable, not just someone’s opinion. On the rare occasion when I’m just spouting off about something that is strictly my opinion, I’ll be sure to let you know. Then, you can take whatever I say with a grain of salt.
My general areas of expertise are business and higher education. I have decades of experience in both. My specific areas of expertise include ethical intelligence, leadership, organizational governance, finance, and accounting. I teach in all of these areas at the university level, both graduate and undergraduate. Although I love theory, I’ll try to keep my blogging practical and useful, something I always do in my classroom.
As we move forward together and share ideas, feel free to ask questions that you would like for me to answer. I’ll be happy to oblige. Please check back frequently. I’ll be adding new entries three to four times a week.
